This Privacy Policy explains how Pada Ventures Pty Ltd collects, uses, stores, and protects information connected to our website and software products, including Tally Money Manager, TradeReply, PlaceIt, and other products offered under the Pada Ventures brand.

1. Who we are

Pada Ventures Pty Ltd develops software products for personal finance, review management, planning workflows, business operations, and related digital services. References to “Pada Ventures”, “we”, “us”, or “our” mean Pada Ventures Pty Ltd.

2. Information we may collect

Depending on how you interact with our website or products, we may collect the following types of information:

  • Name, email address, phone number, business name, and enquiry details.
  • Account registration, login, subscription, billing, and support information.
  • Product usage information, settings, preferences, diagnostics, and technical logs.
  • Device, browser, app version, operating system, and general analytics information.
  • For users of Tally Money Manager's Free version, advertising identifiers, device information, approximate location derived from an IP address, consent choices, app usage information, and advertising interactions processed by Google AdMob.
  • Financial tracking inputs used in Tally Money Manager, including transactions, categories, budgets, workspaces, recurring transaction settings, receipt images, and related notes.
  • Business profile, customer review, approval, generated response, and reply workflow data used by TradeReply.
  • Planning, layout, proposal, uploaded file, project, and workflow information used by PlaceIt where applicable.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide, operate, secure, support, and improve our website and products. This includes account access, product functionality, subscription management, customer support, diagnostics, fraud prevention, service communications, product analytics, and responding to enquiries.

4. Product-specific use

For Tally Money Manager, information may be used to help users record income and expenses, attach receipts, manage budgets and categories, use workspaces, access premium features, and review financial activity.

For TradeReply, information may be used to create draft review responses, send approval requests, track response status, and support business-specific review workflows.

For PlaceIt, information may be used to support planning, layout, proposal, and customer presentation workflows as the product develops.

5. Payments and subscriptions

Where products include paid subscriptions or purchases, payment and subscription management may be handled by Apple, Google, or other payment providers. We may receive limited subscription status or transaction information needed to provide access to paid features, but payment details are generally processed by the relevant provider.

6. Advertising in Tally Money Manager

Tally Money Manager may display advertising supplied by Google AdMob to users of the Free version. Google may process advertising identifiers, device and usage information, approximate location derived from an IP address, consent choices, and ad interactions to provide, limit, personalise where permitted, and measure advertising. Tally does not display ads to users with an active Premium subscription. Free users can review available advertising privacy choices from the app's Settings screen where required in their region.

7. Sharing information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers where necessary to operate our services, including hosting, databases, analytics, app stores, payment processing, communications, email delivery, SMS delivery, authentication, customer support, security tools, and Google AdMob for advertising in Tally Money Manager's Free version.

8. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, support security, and enforce agreements. Users may request deletion of certain information, subject to legal and operational requirements.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect information. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we aim to reduce risk through appropriate service providers, access controls, operational practices, and ongoing improvements.

10. Cookies and analytics

Our website and products may use cookies, analytics, logs, or similar technologies to understand usage, improve performance, detect issues, and support product and website improvements.

11. Your choices

You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of certain personal information, subject to legal, security, and operational limitations. You may also choose not to provide certain information, although this may limit product functionality.

12. Tally Money Manager account deletion

Tally Money Manager users can permanently delete their account and associated synced data directly in the app:

  • Open Tally Money Manager and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  • Open Settings, choose Delete account, and follow the confirmation steps.
  • If you cannot access the app, email hello@pada.com.au from the email address linked to your Tally account and request account deletion.

Completing account deletion removes the Tally account and associated synced transactions, categories, budgets, workspaces, recurring entries, receipt records, and related account data from our active systems. Limited records may be retained only where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or financial recordkeeping. App-store purchase records are managed separately by Apple or Google under their policies.

13. Third-party services

Our website and products may link to or integrate with third-party services, including Google AdMob. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms. We encourage users to review the relevant third-party policies where applicable.

14. Children

Our products are not intended for children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
